NEW ORLEANS -- An Abita Springs man who allegedly performed body piercings on two minors during a late-night outing last week turned himself in to police Tuesday, a St. Tammany Parish sheriff's spokesman said.
The suspect, Ryan Bristol, 19, allegedly picked up the girls, both 13, from their homes April 22 shortly after 2 a.m. The fathers of the girls reported the incident Sunday, saying one of the girls had returned home with a pierced tongue and genitals and the other with a pierced tongue and navel.
Bristol faces two counts of body piercing a minor, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and one count of aggravated sexual battery. Together, the counts are punishable by a maximum of 18 years in prison and a $2,000 fine.
Sheriff's spokesman James Hartman said the piercings likely were performed in Bristol's parked vehicle.
Anyone with information on Bristol's whereabouts should call the sheriff's office at (985) 875-2181.
