NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police arrested a woman Wednesday in connection with the death of her husband during a domestic dispute.

Catina Curley, 32, was booked with second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of her 29-year-old husband, whose name is being withheld pending notification of family members.The shooting occurred just before 8 p.m. at 7860 Bass St in New Orleans East.
According to investigators, the couple was arguing in their home when Curley shot her husband in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.The weapon, a Ruger .357 revolver, was recovered.A preliminary investigation does not reveal any previous incidents of domestic violence between the victim and the suspect.
