Stephanie Boswell
Six on Your Side reporter Stephanie Boswell joined WDSU NewsChannel 6 in 1996.
One of her most memorable "Six On Your Side" stories was about an insurance company that refused to pay for surgery to remove a tumor from the face of a six-month-old girl. Boswell contacted the Insurance Commission's office and was able to get the surgery covered. The story was named the 1999 "Story of the Year" by the Associated Press.
Boswell earned a degree in broadcast journalism from Texas A & M. She spent several years working in Shreveport and at KXAS-TV in Dallas before joining WDSU NewsChannel 6.
Boswell lives on the Northshore with her husband and two children.
