Ro Brown
Assignment Education reporter Ro Brown began his broadcast career at WDSU while still in college at Loyola.
A native New Orleanian, he didn't go far to gain television experience after college. In 1979 he moved to Lake Charles to be a sports reporter for KPLC-TV. However, after one year he moved back to New Orleans to cover local sports for WDSU.
After covering sports in the New Orleans market for nearly 20 years, he switched to a different beat. He is now the city's only reporter who exclusively covers education.
