Kriss Fairbairn
Veteran New Orleans newswoman Kriss Fairbairn returned to the WDSU NewsChannel 6 anchor desk on Jan. 29, where she co-anchors the weekday newscasts at 5, 6, and 10 p.m. with Norman Robinson.
Fairbairn first began working at WDSU in 1990. Over the next seven years she anchored various weekday newscasts, left to have a baby, then came back as a weekend anchor.
During the last three years, she managed media relations for Ochsner Hospital and served as spokesperson for the FBI in Louisiana.
When she's not working, Kriss is focused on her family, serving as a coach for her son's basketball team and as a substitute teacher at his school.
She also enjoys time with the family dog, Baby, and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle.
